MEMIC Acquires Dakota Group

Maine's MEMIC Group on Tuesday said it finalized the acquisition of Dakota Group, including Risk Administrative Services, and four affiliated insurance services companies. Risk Administrative Services is the attorney-in-fact and managing agent for Dakota Truck Underwriters and also has a controlling interest in First Dakota Indemnity Co., MEMIC said.  The purchase also includes affiliates such as OHARA, TLC Advantage and Precision Bill Review.
