The California Division of Workers’ Compensation opened a 15-day comment period on proposed changes to qualified medical evaluator forms.
Proposed revisions to QME Form 31.5 and QME Form 108 would account for the division’s proposal that would add another month to the medical-legal process. The division in October proposed rules that would require QMEs to evaluate injured workers within 90 days instead of the 60 currently allowed.
