CWCI Finds more Evidence of Dip in Medical Costs

Medical costs in California's workers' compensation system began to decline in 2011 after rising rapidly from 2006 through 2010, according to a research bulletin released by the California Workers' Compensation Institute on Monday.CWCI said from accident year 2010 to accident year 2012, average medical benefits decreased 1% measured three months after injury and 3% measured six months after injury.
