The Indiana Workers’ Compensation Board announced that the Second Injury Fund assessment factors for 2023 will be the same as those used in 2022.
The WCB on Friday reported a fund balance of $3.9 million and said disbursements for 2021 totaled $7.2 million. As a result of fund assets being less than 135% of the payments from the previous year, the board is required to levy an assessment.
