NYSIF Appoints 2 to Investments Division

The New York State Insurance Fund has appointed Don McHugh as chief credit officer and Kedar Timblo as chief risk officer in its Investments Division, NYSIF said in the American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds newsletter. McHugh is responsible for the credit risk of NYSIF’s fixed income bond portfolio. Prior to joining NYSIF, he served in a similar capacity at American International Group before joining the risk management group of AIG in 2011, where he managed assets totaling roughly $140 billion.
