Industry Waits for UR Regulations to Answer Unresolved Issues

Utilization review requirements in California are in a state of limbo, with mandates from a 2016 reform bill now in effect while the industry awaits Division of Workers’ Compensation regulations to fill in certain details. The situation was pointed out in a blog post this week by Dan Maldonado, clinical director at Genex Services.
