General Contractor Not Entitled to Summary Judgment, but Neither is Claimant

A New York appellate court ruled that a general contractor was not entitled to summary judgment dismissing a worker’s Labor Law claim against it and that the worker was not entitled to summary judgment, either. Vicente Narvaez worked for Core Contracting of NY LLC. He allegedly suffered injuries while working at a construction site when a hoisted concrete barrier struck his wrist.
