The Ohio Senate passed a bill that would allow employers to post labor law notices online.
The Senate voted 29-3 to pass SB 33, by Sen. Steve Wilson, R-Maineville, on Wednesday.
Ohio businesses are required to post various notices about employment, including proof of workers' compensation coverage and an explanation that a worker who refuses to take a drug test after an accident is presumed to be intoxicated and that intoxication was the proximate cause of an injury.
Employers must display the notices conspicuously in their business locations.
