The Colorado Senate on Friday unanimously approved a bill that would modify provisions related to the Workers’ Compensation Classification Appeals Board.
The Senate voted 34-0 to pass SB 96, by Sen. Chris Kolker, D-Arapahoe, which would allow the insurance commissioner to appoint a licensed insurance agent to serve on the appellate board.
The measure would also preserve the board, scheduled to sunset July 1, through at least Sept. 1, 2032.
