The Missouri House Special Committee on Employment Security has voted to pass a bill setting the order in which fallen first responders' family members can collect $25,000 in workers' compensation death benefits.
Senate Bill 66 now heads to the House Rules Committee, where a hearing is scheduled for 8 a.m. today in House Hearing Room 5.
SB 66 passed 25-8 in the Senate on March 9.
