A Mississippi-based nurse practitioner and former owner of a family health clinic was sentenced to 42 months in prison for her role in a compounding-pharmacy scheme that netted nearly $1.4 million from Tricare and other payers.
Susan K. Perry, 58, of Grand Bay, Alabama, was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. Perry was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release following her prison term, and pay $1,375,692 in restitution.
