California workers’ compensation carriers could continue paying benefits by debit card past 2023, under legislation introduced in the state Assembly. Assemblywoman Lisa Calderon, D-Whittier, on Tuesday introduced AB 2148, which would eliminate sunsetting language from a 2018 measure authorizing the use of prepaid benefit cards. Former Gov.
