The National Council on Compensation Insurance said rate adequacy and the impact of COVID-19 were among the top concerns cited in a survey of more than 100 workers’ compensation insurance executives.
Other topics the executives cited include shifting workforces and workplaces, and rising medical costs.
“When you overlay the added considerations of very broad topics, such as regulatory activity and the economic outlook, it’s easy to see why these executives have a lot to consider when guiding their organizations into 2022 and beyond,” NCCI said.
