Concordia Care Inc. and Cordant Health Solutions have announced a partnership aimed at identifying injured workers at higher risk of medication misuse, a strategy that may reduce costs for payers.
The partnership comes as concerns grow about opioid use among injured workers, as well as the costs of prescription drugs and drug testing. Full drug panels can now cost more than $5,000, the companies said in a news release.
