Colorado’s Pinnacol Assurance announced several actions it is taking during the coronavirus pandemic, including a one-month freeze on policy cancellations and providing benefits for first responders and health care workers who are quarantined.
Pinnacol said that from today through April 22, it will keep policies active and not cancel coverage for businesses that are unable to make regularly scheduled payments. The carrier said cancellation notices will be withheld to give agents and businesses time to work on flexible payment options.
