Net income at Aon PLC fell 10% in the first quarter, to $291 million, compared to $325 million in the prior-year quarter.
Total revenue in the first quarter increased 5% to $2.4 billion, driven primarily by 4% organic revenue growth in commissions and fees, and a 3% increase in commissions and fees related to acquisitions, the company said in a news release.
