The Washington Court of Appeals ruled that the inability of the state Department of Labor & Industries to find erroneously requested documents was not a violation of the Public Records Act. Case: Zellmer v. Department of Labor & Industries, No. 53627-7-II, 09/15/2020, unpublished. Facts: Joel Zellmer collected workers’ compensation benefits for several years due to work-related injuries.
