The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation awarded $9.4 million in grants for workplace safety projects.
The Workforce Safety Innovation Grants disbursed this year are funding four proof-of-concept projects and four prototype projects, the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation said in a statement.
Ohio State University received two proof-of-concept grants for cloud-based platforms to assess the risk of low-back injuries and develop a power-assisted roller board to help health care workers move patients.
