6th DCA Publishes Ruling Finding Accident Wasn't 'Sudden' or 'Extraordinary'

The 6th District Court of Appeal last week ordered publication of its decision from January finding that a construction worker was not entitled to benefits for a psychiatric injury resulting from his accident while operating heavy machinery. The court originally had released its ruling in State Compensation Fund v. WCAB (Guzman), No. H044300, as an unpublished opinion. Unpublished rulings are not binding precedent in California.
