DWC Seeks Comments on Designated Doctor Audit Plan

The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation is accepting comments on its proposed Designated Doctor Plan-Based Audit. "This audit will evaluate the medical necessity and reasonableness of referrals or additional testing ordered by designated doctors, as well as how referral information is incorporated into their narrative reports," the division said.
