Three worker-friendly comp bills moved a big step closer to becoming laws this week when they were endorsed by separate chambers in the Virginia legislature.
The state Senate on Monday approved Senate Bill 561, sponsored by Sen. Jill Vogel, R-Upperville, by a vote of 37-2. The bill would make it easier for some first responders to be compensated for post-traumatic stress disorder.
