The Workers’ Compensation Institute hopes to educate stakeholders about workers’ comp by pretending it doesn’t exist.
WCI said in a notice Wednesday that its annual conference, scheduled for Aug. 6-9 in Orlando, Florida, will include a panel discussion about creating a new workers’ compensation system by imagining that the U.S. Supreme Court has invalidated all state workers’ compensation statutes because state laws no longer provide a grand bargain to workers.
