The California Workers’ Compensation Institute announced that Sara Widener-Brightwell will succeed general counsel Ellen Sims Langille, who is retiring in May.
In her new role, Widener-Brightwell will manage CWCI’s internal and external legal affairs. She will serve as staff liaison to the legal committee, which directs CWCI’s amicus activities, and analyze regulatory and legal issues affecting California workers’ compensation.
