Res Judicata Bars Worker's Attempt to Challenge Description of Injury, Termination of Benefits

The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania ruled that res judicata barred a worker from challenging the description of her injuries and the termination of her benefits. Marie Louise Boulin sustained a job-related injury on Aug. 28, 2018, while working for Brandywine Senior Care Inc. Brandywine accepted liability and began paying Boulin weekly benefits of $220.36. Boulin later filed a review petition asserting additional injuries.
