Injured workers who travel for medical care or evaluation of their injuries will be reimbursed at 58.5 cents per mile, according to a press release the California Workers’ Compensation Institute issued Friday.
The new rate after Jan. 1 is an increase over the 56 cents per mile paid for medical travel in 2021.
