Applicants for vacant compensation judge positions in Florida include a former attorney for Liberty Mutual Insurance, a lawyer for self-insured employers, a couple of claimants' lawyers and two mediators for the court.
But the number of people interested in the job is fewer than in years past, reflecting a general downward trend.
