MedRisk Adviser Named VP of APTA Orthopedic Section

Lori Michener, a member of MedRisk’s International Scientific Advisory Board, has been elected vice president of the orthopedic section of the American Physical Therapy Association. Michener is the director of clinical outcomes and research in the division of biokinesiology and physical therapy at the University of Southern California. She also oversees USC’s clinical biomechanics and orthopedics outcomes research program, known as COOR, and is a professor in the physical therapy department.
