CWCI: Claim Volume High, Costs Low in Northern Counties

The California Workers’ Compensation Institute said claim volume is disproportionately high in nine northern counties, but average claim costs are lower than in the rest of the state. CWCI said in its latest Regional Score Card that Del Norte, Humboldt, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama and Trinity counties account for 1.1% of the state’s workforce but generate 3.3% of workers’ compensation claims. Obviously, the next reform assault on California's injured workers needs to include total and complete elimination of "foreign bodies, punctures, lacerations and fractures" to reduce costs and protect corporate profits! (Sarcasm, folks)

Or better yet have some environmental group cause a ruckus and force the tree killers out of business thus eliminating all claims for injuries....... SARCASISM!
