Oklahoma lawmakers unanimously passed a bill that would increase the gross annual payroll limit for agricultural, ranching and horticultural workers to be covered by workers’ compensation.
The state House of Representatives on Monday voted 91-0 to pass Senate Bill 1076, by Sen. Casey Murdock, R-Felt. The Senate voted 47-0 to pass the measure in March.
SB 1076 would increase the payroll limit to $150,000 from $100,000 for agricultural workers to be covered by workers’ compensation.
