Pharmacy Worker's Injuries From Seizure-Related Fall Ruled Compensable

A Louisiana appellate court ruled that a pharmacy technician was entitled to benefits for injuries from a fall after she suffered a seizure at work. Eddrina Woodard worked as a pharmacy technician for Brookshire Grocery Co. On Sept. 26, 2019, Woodard was standing at her computer station at the pharmacy counter when she fell after suffering a seizure. Woodard sustained injuries to her right shoulder.
