Pharmacy Recalls Year's Worth of Compounded Drugs, Faces Disciplinary Action

A San Francisco compounding pharmacy is recalling all unexpired compounded drugs it dispensed over the last year due to what it called a “lack of quality assurance” and is facing possible disciplinary action from the California Board of Pharmacy. Reliable Drug, at 801 Irving St., and its pharmacist in charge, Sam Ching, are facing 15 potential causes of discipline that could lead to suspension or revocation of their licenses.
