WorkCompSchool Offering Course on 132a Claims

WorkCompSchool announced Wednesday that it is offering a new online course, "Discrimination Actions Under Labor Code 132a", a new California course that offers 3 hours of mandatory continuing education and legal specialization credits and 3 hours of continuing education credits for claims professionals. Under California statutes, it is illegal for an employer or an insurer to discriminate against an injured employee or a co-worker of an injured employee as a result of the claim, WorkCompSchools said in a press release.
