NCRB Updates Loss-Cost Multipliers

The North Carolina Rate Bureau (NCRB) posted its annual update of loss-cost multipliers filed by carriers writing workers' compensation coverage in the state. The filings, which were updated Monday, came from five carriers and reflect an average loss-cost multiplier of 1.375. They range from 1 to 1.436. The filings were made by ACE Fire Underwriters Insurance Co., Ace Property and Casualty Insurance Co., ACIG Insurance Co., AIU Insurance Co. and Accident Fund Insurance Co.
