A Georgia grand jury has indicted a Macon chiropractor and her office manager on insurance fraud charges.
Chiropractor Lori Ugolik, 41, and Charlotte L. Etheridge, 50, were charged with 15 counts of filing false treatment claims to six insurance companies, the Macon Telegraph reported Tuesday.
Ugolik -- operator of Ugolik Chiropractic Services -- was charged with 10 counts of insurance fraud. Etheridge, the clinic's office manager, was charged with five counts of conspiring to defraud insurers by submitting false claims for treatment and services, the Georgia Insurance Commissioner said.
