Construction Company Cited, Fined for Not Protecting Workers from Falls

A Havertown, Pennsylvania construction company is facing $470,300 in proposed penalties from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration after an investigation found that the company had put its workers in danger by electrocution and falling. In November last year, OSHA investigators were tipped off that workers employed by the construction company DMAC Construction LLC were in “imminent danger” while working at a site on 20th and Federal streets in Philadelphia, OSHA said in a press release.
