Workers Who Fear Being Fired Have Slower RTW, are Less Satisfied with Medical Care

Previous research has already shown that workers who fear being fired because of their injuries take longer to get back to the job. On Thursday, the Workers Compensation Research Institute reiterated that finding and reinforced it with the addition of data from four new states. The institute published data from Iowa, Tennessee, Arkansas and Connecticut, bringing the total number of states up to 12 in the second phase of a four-phase project.
