Legislators Signal potential Compromise on WC Laws

A day after Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan (D-Chicago) said on the house floor he was open to changes in the state’s workers’ compensation laws, Senate President John Cullerton (D-Chicago) said something similar to the Chicago Tribune editorial board Wednesday. Both Madigan and Cullerton have been locked in a budgetary stalemate with Gov.
