Committee Approves Side-Agreement Bill, Places Hold on Apportionment Measure

The California Assembly Appropriations Committee on Wednesday unanimously approved a bill that would exempt carriers from filing side agreements to large deductible policies in some cases and placed a hold on a measure that would prohibit gender discrimination in the apportioning of permanent disability. The committee voted 20-0 to pass AB 1922 by Assemblyman Tom Daly, D-Anaheim.
