W.R. Berkley Names CEO of Lloyd's Syndicate's Managing Agent

W.R. Berkley Corp. has appointed Alastair Blades as chief executive of W.R. Berkley Syndicate Management Ltd.Blades succeeds Michael Sibthorpe, who has resigned from the company. Currently, he serves as a director of W.R. Berkley Syndicate Management and its chief underwriting officer. Blades is also serving as deputy chairman of the LMA Worldwide Property Business Panel, an insurance industry group.The firm acts as the Lloyd’s managing agent for W.R.
