Acadia Insurance Co. President William M. Rohde Jr. was appointed on Wednesday as senior vice president of the carrier's parent company, W.R. Berkley Corp. in Greenwich, Conn.Douglas M. Nelson will succeed Rohde as the new president of Acadia, which is W.R. Berkley's regional operating unit in Westbrook, Maine.As a senior vice president, Rohde will assume oversight responsibilities for its regional operating units and report to W.
