State Legislators' Organization to Investigate Opt-Out

With workers’ compensation opt-out legislation being considered in a growing number of states, an organization of state lawmakers from across the country has decided to investigate the pros and cons of opt-out programs. The National Conference of Insurance Legislators decided this month during its annual meeting to tackle the issue as part of its 2016 work plan.
