Webinar to Examine Latest Work Comp Benchmarking Study Data, Revealing Survey Results from More Than 1300 Frontline Claims Professionals

Wednesday, June 26, 2024 | 455 | 0

Chicago, IL – June 26, 2024 – Experts from Rising Medical Solutions’ annual Workers’ Compensation Benchmarking Study will dissect the most recent study data in a free webinar on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET. The webinar, entitled “The View from the Front Lines of Claims Management,” will use the study’s latest survey results to examine how frontline claims talent views their profession and the tools transforming the industry.

Surveying frontline professionals for the second time in the study’s history and for the first time since COVID, this research not only compares frontline participants’ perspectives to those of the claims executive participants who preceded them, it also quantifies how the experience and motivations of frontline professionals have (or have not) changed in the post-pandemic work environment.

Heavy caseloads and administrative tasks remain a significant burden, and survey respondents express distinct views on how existing and emerging tools, including AI, can best help them. Likewise, frontline professionals express clear views on the importance of remote work and other factors that are reshaping the profession.

The webinar panel members, all seasoned experts in workers’ compensation risk management, will leverage study data to discuss the effective use of predictive analytics and AI to greatly reduce the grind of parsing medical records and liberate claims professionals to do their best work—namely focusing on injured worker advocacy, the humane but swift closure of claims, and facilitating better medical outcomes. When coupled with remote work, these tech-aided quality of workplace improvements could serve to attract and retain the claims management talent the industry critically needs.

In this one-hour webinar, study experts will drill down into the data to help show the way forward, discussing dozens of data points garnered from more than 1300 frontline claims professionals.

Moderated by Risk & Insurance® Editor-In-Chief Dan Reynolds, the webinar will feature:

  • Denise Algire, Director of Health, Albertsons Companies
  • Marcos Iglesias, MD, VP, Chief Medical Director, Travelers
  • Matt Harmon, Senior Vice President of Claims, MEMIC
  • Todd Brown, Vice President, Client Services, Rising Medical Solutions

Webinar registration is required and space is limited. Registrants will receive a complimentary copy of the 2023 Workers’ Compensation Benchmarking Study Report, which will be published later this fall.
