GILSON DAUB EXPANDS INTO IDAHO, WELCOMES SCOTT MCINTYRE AS PARTNER OF TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION

McIntyre will lead the firm’s new Idaho office, marking Gilson Daub’s 15th state of practice

San Clemente, Calif. – September 17, 2026 - Gilson Daub, a leading workers’ compensation defense, subrogation, and general liability law firm, today announced expansion into Idaho, marking the 15th state in which the firm practices. The office will be led by seasoned workers’ compensation attorney, Scott McIntyre, who joined the firm in August as partner of technology and innovation.

The expansion is the latest step in Gilson Daub’s strategic national growth. Over the past two years, the firm has expanded into six additional states, strengthening its ability to serve clients across jurisdictions and provide broader support throughout the country.

“As we continue our national expansion, several of our largest clients have specifically asked us to provide representation in Idaho, and we’re proud to be able to meet that need,” said Brent Daub, senior founding partner of Gilson Daub. “Our growth has always been intentional and driven by where we can best serve our clients. Admitted to practice in California and Idaho, Scott brings to Gilson Daub more than 12 years of litigation experience representing employers, administrators, and insurance carriers, with a focus on the retail, construction, and automotive industries. Prior to joining Gilson Daub, he was a partner at H&R Law Group, where he managed a caseload of more than 150, from inception to trial. Before that, Scott practiced for more than a decade with Cipolla Bhatti Hoyal & Roach, where, in addition to litigation work, he specialized in training attorneys, insurance carriers, and administrators on various aspects of case handling. He started his law career at the firm Samuelsen Gonzalez Valenzuela & Brown.

On the education front, Scott received his Juris Doctor from Chapman University School of Law, where he was awarded a full merit scholarship and served as staff editor of the Chapman Law Review. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Brigham Young University prior.
