Jacksonville, FL — November 3, 2026 — PhysNet today announced the appointment of Barbara Limardo as Director of Finance, strengthening the company’s financial leadership and infrastructure as it continues to grow its national platform.

Limardo brings more than 15 years of healthcare finance and administrative leadership experience, having spent the majority of her career with Desert Orthopedic Center, a large physician-owned orthopedic organization. During her tenure, she progressed through increasingly senior positions across accounting, finance and executive leadership, ultimately overseeing a broad range of financial and operational functions.

Throughout her career, Limardo has led financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, treasury and cash management, revenue cycle, financial systems, internal controls and organizational planning. She has also led process and technology initiatives designed to improve reporting accuracy, accelerate financial close cycles, automate manual processes and provide leadership with better information for decision-making.

Her healthcare finance experience also includes work involving workers’ compensation and the complex financial relationships among healthcare providers, patients, payers and employers.

“Barbara brings the combination of financial expertise, healthcare experience and hands-on leadership we were looking for,” said Julian Alexander, CEO of PhysNet. “As PhysNet grows, we are continuing to invest in the people, systems and infrastructure needed to support a more sophisticated and scalable organization. Barbara’s experience building those capabilities will make her an important partner to our leadership team.”

As Director of Finance, Limardo will lead PhysNet’s accounting and finance organization, including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, treasury, financial analysis, systems and controls. She will also work closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, operating performance and the continued development of PhysNet’s financial and administrative infrastructure.

“I am excited to join PhysNet at an important point in the company’s growth,” said Limardo. “I was drawn to the organization’s entrepreneurial culture, its commitment to improving healthcare outcomes, and the opportunity to help build the financial and operational foundation that will support its continued expansion. I look forward to working with Julian and the entire PhysNet team.”
