WCAB Rescinds Pandemic Orders

California’s Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board issued an en banc decision lifting any remaining provisions it implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic. The order lifting the pandemic orders took effect March 22. After Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in March 2020, the WCAB issued a series of en banc decisions to temporarily suspend specific rules.
