Workers’ compensation attorneys were generally satisfied with the performance of administrative law judges and mediators, according to results of a 2016 survey published by the Workers’ Compensation Board.
Among attorneys who participated in the survey, 54.29% said judges were “excellent,” and another 35.63% rated judges as “satisfactory” across five categories including knowledge of workers’ compensation law, judicial temperament, capability to handle hearings, diligence and efficacy, and communication skills.
