The Utah Labor Commission is proposing to increase the conversion factor for anesthesiology and to clarify rules regarding reimbursement of injured workers for travel, according to notices published in the Oct. 15 Utah State Bulletin.
The conversion factor for anesthesiology would increase to $57 from $53 under the commission’s proposal. The change could take effect as early as Nov. 22.
