The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation announced the adoption of new and revised rules governing dispute resolutions, settlements and commutations.
The DWC said it eliminated regulatory references to penalties for certain violations that are already covered by Labor Code Chapter 415 and Texas Administrative Code Chapter 180.
Other changes update citations, remove obsolete references and make plain language updates, the division said.
