Technical Difficulties: Virtual Hearings Delayed After Glitch

Few computer users have gone long without some sort of glitch causing delays, do-overs or the pulling out of hair. The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board is no exception. The board announced this week that its much-touted virtual hearing system, which was tested for a year and is now available in most parts of the state, ran into some technical problems that caused some hearings to be postponed.
