A Louisiana appellate court upheld an award of benefits, fees and penalties to a worker who suffered injuries in an explosion in 2018. Case: Raney v. Top Deck Inc., No. 18-927, 11/13/2019, published. Facts: Byrle Raney was working for Top Deck Inc. at a pulp and paper mill in DeRidder when an explosion ripped through the facility in February 2018.
